The Carlin Collaborative was engaged by AtlantiCare to provide a full range of project management services for this 48,000 sqft new facility aimed to increase surgery capacity and services within AtlantiCare’s community-based medical park. Within the newly constructed building, TCC completed a 24,000 sqft fit-out consisting of 6 operating rooms, 12 pre-op bays, fifteen 15 PACU bays, and associated support spaces for a joint venture between AtlantiCare and Rothman Orthopaedics.
TCC skillfully lead construction and site-work of the facility within an active medical park ensuring no disruptions to operations. Expert project management was required to manage an aggressive schedule, user requested design changes during construction, equipment installation coordination with construction, as well as complex state and local regulatory approvals.
Additionally, TCC solved long lead procurement challenges, permitting delays, and economical solutions to design changes. Through agile problem solving and close collaboration, this project was successfully delivered on time while avoiding additional project costs.
