Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP is an international immigration law firm with eighteen (18) offices around the world. Driven by a desire to provide a modernized and more collaborative workspace, Fragomen retained The Carlin Collaborative to oversee the renovation of their New Jersey office. Rethinking the workplace environment, the project included updating finishes, creating larger collaborative spaces, and utilizing added real estate to provide more operational functionality.
In March of 2020, halfway through the project, all construction activity in the state was placed on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This hold remained for three months, significantly impacting the project schedule. During that time, TCC maintained proactive communication with clients and vendors, allowing the project to hit the ground running when the mandatory ban was lifted.
Once allowed, TCC developed an aggressive scheduling plan that utilized phasing and creative coordination to expedite construction. TCC was able to deliver the project within the original targeted completion date and avoid operational disruptions.
