John Brooks Recovery Center, a private substance abuse treatment provider was looking to expand their treatment area and increase inpatient capabilities by developing a new rehabilitation center. The new facility, designed to promote mental and physical health, is part of a continuing plan for John Brooks to expand its services outside Atlantic City and onto the mainland, and will provide the community with higher quality services through a recovery-oriented care model.

The Carlin Collaborative was engaged to oversee construction of the new 58,000 sqft facility which houses 120 short-, longterm, and detox beds, a fitness area, dining areas, medical exam rooms, counseling offices, group therapy rooms, a cafeteria, ancillary support spaces, and an outdoor courtyard space.
