St. Luke's Leesport Health Center Opens, Expanding Access to Patient Care in Berks County

As the newest addition to the St. Luke’s University Health Network, the Leesport Health Center is delivering an enhanced level of patient care to individuals in Berks County, Pennsylvania. On Wednesday, May 21, a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrated the grand opening of the 22,000-square-foot facility, which now joins St. Luke’s expansive system of more than 15 hospital campuses and over 300 outpatient sites across Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

The Leesport Health Center features a broad range of services, including CareNow walk-in care and Outpatient Physical Therapy, designed to meet the growing healthcare needs of the community. The facility treats minor injuries and non-emergency illnesses while also offering access to primary care, orthopedic services, women’s imaging, and laboratory diagnostics.

Program space included 14 exam rooms for Primary Care Physician use, 8 additional exam rooms for Orthopedic Physician usage, and approximately 3,900 square feet worth of Outpatient Physical Therapy space.  The patient-centered design aligned with St. Luke’s commitment to delivering exceptional, one-on-one care and creating healthcare experiences that exceed patient expectations.

TCC provided comprehensive Construction Phase Services for the project including oversight of the general contractor, adherence to the construction schedule, owner reporting, financial reporting, coordination and resolution of design issues with architect and general contractor, as well as review and recommendation of Owner action regarding project changes.
